Good to the bone” campaign

This initiative encourages the enjoyment of stone fruit from Spanish cooperatives, seasonal, natural and healthy.

Together with the regional federations of Murcia, Aragón, Comunidad Valenciana and Cataluña, in May Agri-Food Cooperatives of Spain launched the “Buenas Hasta el Hueso” (Good to the Stone) campaign to promote the consumption of stone fruit, mainly peaches, nectarines, apricots, plums, flat peaches and cherries, and to publicize their health benefits, due to their high vitamin and mineral content.

This campaign, which will run on social networks until the end of September, presents seasonal fruits as the healthiest, freshest and juiciest option to face the summer.

In addition, the campaign showcases the role of farmers and their cooperatives, the campaign shows the role of farmers and their cooperatives in offering consumers healthy and safe food to offer consumers healthy and safe food, close to home, and produced in a sustainable way, supporting the rural economy and the future of the thousands of family farms that live in our villages.

It has numerous audiovisual material that is being disseminated through Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube and a website where you can find detailed information on the characteristics of each of these fruits, as well as healthy recipes and information on the producing cooperatives. In addition, in June the campaign launched the Win your weight in fruit! sweepstakes, which was very well attended. The winner of the raffle could choose to donate all or part of the prize in solidarity to a soup kitchen of their choice.

From Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias we encourage all consumers to “discover and join this campaign, so that stone fruits occupy the place they deserve in Spanish homes”, in addition to “live a summer full of health and wellness, enjoying and eating in a totally healthy and natural way” with the consumption of seasonal stone fruits.
