Stone fruit cooperatives continue to show all the benefits of these products in ‘Buenas hasta el Hueso’ (Good to the Stone).

The campaign, promoted by Cooperativas Agro-alimentarias de España and the regional federations of Murcia, Aragón, Comunidad Valenciana and Cataluña, encourages the consumption of stone fruit through social networks.

At the beginning of May, the campaign ‘Buenas hasta el Hueso’ (Good to the Bone)was launched, an initiative promoted by Agri-food Cooperatives of Spain and the regional federations of Murcia , Aragón , Valencian Community y Catalonia with the aim of promoting the consumption of stone fruits at national level.

Thus, during the first weeks of the 2023 campaign, which starts in the Region of Murcia thanks to its earliest varieties, the health benefits and versatility of apricots, flat peaches and nectarines for their incorporation into the daily diet have been shown.

Seasonal stone fruit

In the coming months it will be the turn of peaches, plums and cherries from the collaborating areas of the campaign.

Good to the Stone ‘ arises from the need to increase national consumption of these seasonal fruits and, at the same time, to publicize in more detail the work done by agri-food cooperatives in Spain and their contribution to rural development and the local economy.

The ‘Buenas Hasta el Hueso’ (Good to the Bone) campaign, as explained at its launch, is being developed mainly on social networks and will be active until the end of September, although the aim of the project’s promoters is for it to be active throughout each season.

It has a website, www.buenashastaelhueso.es, where all consumers can find detailed information on the characteristics of each of these fruits, as well as healthy recipes and information on the producing cooperatives and their farmers.

In addition, all the audiovisual material of the campaign is disseminated through the main platforms and social networks, such as Instagram , Facebook , Twitter , TikTok o YouTube .

From the Agro-food Cooperatives encourage all consumers to“discover and join this campaign, so that stone fruits occupy the place they deserve in Spanish homes“, in addition to“live a summer full of health and wellness, enjoying eating in a totally healthy and natural way” with the consumption of stone fruits in season.
